«Since 2012, I have been complementing the multi-layered aspect of my painting with my multi-coloured wood prints. Since 2016, the figure, which I have put on hold since 2009, has re-entered my paintings with my screen prints. The flexibility of the digital screen printing pre-press allows me to playfully deal with a wide variety of motifs, which I can collage as easily as in a dream. The motifs, which sometimes seem absurd in this way, always tell new stories and since then have also found space in my painting again.»
